Join us for our 2nd Annual Garden Tool Swap at Do Good Rural Rec!

This May we’ll be setting up the swap in Appin during our regular scheduled monthly activities.

This is a bring what you have / take what you need activity.
It’s free for everyone to participate!

When and Where:

  • Ekfrid Community Centre
  • 48 Wellington Ave. Appin, ON
  • 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Types of Garden Tools (+ other things) to Swap:

• trowels, rakes, shovels
• weed pullers and forks
• pruners and shears
• garden gloves that don’t fit
• watering cans and garden hose
• extra pots
• plant labels / twine, etc.

How it Works

• All items are intended to be shared and taken freely. Items are not for sale, and shouldn't be taken for resale purposes.
• You do not need to bring items to participate. If you see something you can use, enjoy it!
• You can drop-off your usable garden swap items and leave. You do not need to stay on site for the entire event, unless you're wanting to see what new items come in!
• Please be kind and respectful. Take what you can use so everyone can participate.
• Items leftover after the swap will be donated to local groups, organizations, and community gardens that can make use of them.
