We design and facilitate community programs and partnerships in small and rural communities.
A Simple Idea: Helping Small Communities Do Good Things
Do Good Things Co. creates events, activities, and community projects that help neighbours connect, learn new skills, support local businesses, and strengthen small rural communities.
Whether we're organizing a Free Clothing Swap, hosting a workshop, creating family-friendly activities, or helping another organization bring an idea to life, our goal is simple:
Create opportunities that make it easier for people to connect with one another while doing something positive for their community.

Why We Started
Small rural communities deserve opportunities too.
Many larger communities have regular events, workshops, networking opportunities, and places to connect.
That's not always available in smaller communities.
Do Good Things Co. was created to help fill those gaps by creating affordable, approachable opportunities that bring people together while supporting local organizations and businesses whenever possible.

Why We Work Across Communities
Rural communities are full of great people and opportunities, but they're often spread out. Residents frequently travel to larger centres for workshops, services, shopping, recreation, and community programs.
We believe collaboration can help change that.
By connecting neighbouring communities and thinking beyond town limits, we can strengthen participation, make better use of shared resources, and bring more opportunities closer to home.
Sometimes the difference between "not enough interest" and a successful program is simply inviting people from the next town over—or finding creative ways to meet people where they are.

Community Partners
Community Partners help make good things happen, and play an important role in helping bring opportunities to rural communities.
Working together with local businesses, organizations, municipalities, volunteers, and residents allows us to create activities, build connections, share resources, and celebrate the great things already happening throughout our communities.
Together, we can accomplish more than any one organization can do alone.

Meet Casey
"Hi, I'm Casey, the founder of Do Good Things Co.
Before starting this business, I spent over 14 years working in corporate legal, financial, and technology support roles, coordinating projects, improving processes, supporting large teams, and helping people solve problems.
Today I use those same skills to create community programs, organize events, build partnerships, and help bring good ideas to life in small rural communities."
